*A comparable protein powder substitute that is much more affordable. I use 1 scoop of the unflavored whey plus 1/2 scoop of the Vanilla Veggie Protein (see image).
Directions
Add all the ingredients to a high speed or regular blender. If adding cacao nibs, blend a bit first and add at the end to maintain crunch.

Ingredients
1/2 cup milk
1 pasteurized egg or *unpasteurized egg
2 teaspoons sugar
4 orange ice cubes (see below)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions
Blend 2 peeled oranges and freeze in an ice cube tray (or freeze orange juice).
Put all ingredients in a blender and blend until frothy.
*if you don’t want to use a raw egg): In a small saucepan add milk, egg, and sugar. Turn on the heat to medium/low and stir constantly until the temperature reaches 160 degrees.
Remove from heat and pour into a blender; allow to cool for a few minutes.
Add the frozen orange juice cubes and blend until frothy.

Rockstar Smoothie
I watched a demo at Beaming on how to make some of their signatures smoothies. This one was my favorite and I make it at home every day. They didn’t give exact proportions, so this is my best estimation.

Vanilla-Matcha Protein Smoothie

½ banana
3 tablespoons raw cashews
1 tablespoon mashed avocado
1 large Medjool date, pitted
2 tablespoons Beaming Protein Powder
