- 2 pounds chicken
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon allspice
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- Juice of one lemon
- 1 clove of garlic, minced or use garlic press
- Salt and pepper
Whisk all the ingredients and pour into a ziplock bag or bowl. Mix in the chicken and let marinate a few hours.
If using chicken breasts I find them best pounded out to about half the original thickness. I also like to cut up the chicken breast into cubes and put them on a skewer.
